If you have a property in noida then what do you wirte ..."New Okhla" ????...
A citys image is created over a period of time. Have you ever been to pune ???..but still you know that there is some good developement like lavasa, etc there....thats the impact of media.
Investors are not sitting in Noida property dealer shops knowing each and everything about the city. See the forums there are hundreds of queries about simple sectors...which everyone knows about..but the investor who is willing ot invest doesnt have a clue about.
If an area is succesful in the city..it has to bear the naem of the city....
Can you even think of saying Film city, NOIDA is in "NEW OKHLA"....or sector 18 malls like GIP are in NEW OHKLA...why not..because it will take the imagie of the city..people who have not much idea about Noida will start assuming its in Delhi.
Similarly Noida extension is NOT Noida ..its simply Greater Noida.....the appartmenst are selling like hot cakes...but people around India and indians who are willing to invest in india..when read it in media..think its Noida....
Look at this forum only...nearly 50-60% threads on Noida are about Greater Noida new sectors...they should have been in Greater Noida...
Thats the impact i ma talking about....which gladly the authorities have understood...and I am certain that one fine day the autrhorities will put up their patent "WELCOME TO GREATER NOIDA" Banner at the hindon bridge...to remove all confusion
