Prorety in Ajmer
The holy city Ajmer is waking up from a deep slumber. Tagged as a traditional city, Ajmer is now on a transformation mode. It’s proximity to Jaipur has lot to do with its new look. After dotting the entire Jaipur-Ajmer highway with townships and residential projects, builders are now entering Ajmer.
The rates in posh localities of Ajmer has also seen a steep rise. A plot in Vishali Nagar commands a rate of Rs 10,000 per sq yard, while a piece of land in Civil Line can fetch Rs 9,000-12,000 per sq yards. The affordable prices can be seen in localities connecting Ajmer-Jaipur highway like Jagwana where the rate is around Rs 3,000 per sq yards. The rentals, however, are in the affordable limit as Ajmer doesn’t have much expatriate population,” says a leading property consultant Raju.
Retail and commercial rates are riding high on corporate demand for spaces within city limits and the outskirts too. With changing consumption patterns, shopping centres, cineplexes and malls are replacing the old structures, which were once the identity of this educational city. “Many banks, retail and business houses with a pan-Indian presence have brought their zonal/regional office spaces here, he says.
