Residential Land Prices in South Goa for Colonization

Hello Folks, this is Victor from UK. I have been in touch with a few Goan Realtors for buying a 1-2 acre residential land to build a couple of houses (6-8) for my friends back home.

We are also on the look out for able contractors who can do the development and have proven experience and a good portfolio on Goa.

I have being doing some research on Google and it seems buying a land in Goa is extremely difficult.

My Questions:

1. What are the procedures? And how does one know that the land title etc. is clear?

2. Is it easy to find contractors in Goa? What would be the cost of constructing a 3 bedroom house?

FYI, I am a NRI and can buy the land legally.
