I have read your friends blog. It is quite evident that he is suffering from a psychotic illness. He has prominent paranoid ideation, well systematised delusions and seems to be suffering from thought interference phenomenon. I believe that he would fulfill the criteria to be diagnosed as having Schizophrenia. I can only empathise with his current level of distress. Without treatment he would have a poor prognosis. I wonder if there are any family or friends who might be able to help him get treatment. I generally do no post on this site , but felt it was my duty of care as a Psychiatrist to help this person. Hope you are able to help him.
