Just searched on . Rates in Kothrud seem to hover between 3.5-4.5K for resale flats (less than 5 yrs old). I would pay 3.5K for living close to the main city + NH4, 24hr water supply from corporation, a society that is already formed and registered, middle/upper middle class educated folks (rather than the infamous scorpio chaps).
Not that I feel Kothrud deserves 4.5K, but for comparing, definitely better than paying 4K for living in a place far off from the city, facing water issue, builder issues, possession issues
