We are happy to announce a partnership with the news site India Realty News that we expect to be mutually beneficial for both the sites. If we help bring enough News to IRN, it will grow in popularity and in turn direct people to IREF for all their conversational/community needs. In seeing all the spirit in the Latest News thread, we hope you are all as excited about this as we are!

So, you will now notice a "News" link in the navigation bar that will direct you to the site. On IRN, you will notice a link back to the forums. You will also see a coordinated effort to match the look and feel across sites, which may be improved further over time.

On IRN you will also see a "Post News" link at the top. We highly encourage members here to submit news they feel is worthy of IRN. In the future, we hope to incorporate ways to keep track of who has submitted what, provide some sort of incentive to members to want to be involved, and perhaps enhanced methods to get the post submitted. For now though, we will try this.

If enough interest in helping submit news is generated, we will at the very least provide members with a form that could be submitted to request having an account set up on the news site for you to log in and draft articles. If this interest you, please let us know!

As a result of this partnership IREF visitors have access to website dedicated only to Indian realty news, one that is that frequented by us and only one click away. Now let's see to it that this is the start to something great!

I think it a wonderful initiative to make it more credible and worthy.. Its profound stature will give enough reason to believe to users or knowledge seekers. Like we do brand extension to transact with new users or widen the consumer base.. this will certainly widen the interface of users.

I would recommend that all the post shall be filtered through an editor with established excellence in the field of RE. Just to avoid crap getting posted which may result in making site more flippant than fun for serious readers or information seekers.. I think short and cute kinda approach will do better.. Giving user ID is nice idea for people who want to log in and draft a post..
