Default Dont buy any properties lets unite together for good Social Cause

Hello All,

I am a techie working in Bangalore in a reputed MNC from past 3 years. I was looking to buy a property in bangalore from past 2 years but got fed up with the price tags and the quality of areas and construction.

For junk apartments in junk areas in bangalore the price starts at 25 lakhs and goes up to 80 lakhs. Independent houses price range from 30 lakhs in out skirts to 1 crore, 2 crore etc....

Say you are a techie earning 7lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum-- after the tax and your house hold expense you will be able to not even save 3 to 5 lakhs per annum.[excluding your your useless insurance premiums and 8c savings].

People will think when you own a house, your problem ends, but I say after seeing my fellow techies and friends after buying property your patchtic time will start, you need to pay hefty EMI's for your life time and which will destroy your peice of mind, as you know due to recession ans etc there is no security if you are a techie.

No one in this world can rescue if your job goes wrong and if you need to pay hefty EMI's...

And also the Documents produced by builders and property owners 80% of them will produce fake documents...

Also BBMP is a Corrupt agency, which can register you any property if the builders and property owners bribe them... so dont fall into well and spoil your one and only life the god has given you...

It's my Sincere request that dont pay unrealistic prices for properties...

Come lets unite for a good social cause and we Techies, engineers and business men will unite together and make a aspecious decision not to buy even single property in bangalore for next 2 years..

If we do that it will be big revolution against unrealstic prices for junk properties ans this will automatically bring prices drastically down...

Builders and property owners must beg for the buyers [ as the same situation is started to happen in bangalore with 1.5 lakh number of apartments and properties are vacant without any buyers, lets exploit this situation and unite together to bring the real estate prices down]

Remember Rothi kapda Makaan should be right of every Indian Citizen...

But because of junk Real estate people... Makaan is become a un fulfillable dream of any citizen in India...

Lets unite together and launch a proxy war againt Real estate and make the Rela estate price affordable and bring prices down...

hi kiran,
i m from pune. i read ur post and i can understand ur frustation against builders. even in pune the rates r gone too hihg or last few years. but there r some corrections cme in due course. wht i see here is in pune atleast there is no stopping of RE business. infact in last few months there had been considerable sales happening in various areas. also some builders r less nego or increasing the rates.
wht i mean to say is it will b better to grab good opportunity and go for it if its a need. bcoz wht i hv seen for last so many years in pune the rates have never came down drastically.

sam...

Hi Kiran,

Can understand ur fustration ,

But ur reaction is pacifist. U seem to suggest to sit tight and do nothing.

By the way the corrupt in admin or Neta reflects the societywe live and accept/ elect.

U can choose alternate paths.

Buy land and build ur own house

Start ur group of interested buyers and buildur own society at your terms.

Meet bldrs / brokers and give ur piece of ur mind or price.

Best of luck .

Hi Kiran,
I understand your frustation.
Its not about Bangalore or Pune, whole India is facing this problem.
Even tier 2 and tier 3 cities are facing same problem.
i think the best approach we can follow is
a) prepare the list of choice for flats/apartments/villas whatever in your case
b) difficult but we should try to create group of people who are interested in the same scheme in which are planning
c) negotiate with the builder.

Pls add any other valuable suggestion friends.

Dhaval has the right approach. One shud channel his/her frustration towards solution.

I don't understand the logic how low land-rate (for e.g 800 psf) translates into high apartment rate (2500-3000 psf).
Paying these high rates and then remaining at builder's mercy that he fullfills his promises.

Every goon & politician has ventured into RE development due to submissive RE buyers.
Isn't it easy way of earning truckload of money?
