GPA Queries - Can someone answer?
Greetings !!
I have some queries on General Power of Attorney related topic. Can someone answer the following questions: Background: I work in US and few years back had issued a GPA to one of my known person to register land on my bahelf in Bangalore, the land was registered in my name and the khata was issued in my name too. Queries: 1. Do I need to revoke the GPA as the task is accomplished or we can just ignore? 2. Do I need to visit Sub Registrar's office with registered Sale Deed to affix my signature on the Sale Deed or any other document to make sure that I am the owner? Or it's not required as the GPA holder had did on my behalf? 3. Assuming I need to sell the land, whether GPA holder's signature is required? Or just the registered owner's signature is sufficient(which is myself in this case)? Many thanks in advance for your advise.  :p |
