Default Infosys starts Sarjapur SEZ Groundwork?

Hi Guys,

I am being told that Infosys has started ground excavation/land leveling works in Sarjapur/Billapur area in Sarjapur-Attibele road for the first phase of the SEZ. Could anyone that is local in Bangalore and has traveled by the road in the past week confirm this news?

There is a boundary wall around the site. Cannot see what's going on inside. I am planning to visit that place on Saturday.

I have an update for you regarding the Infosys land. In the 2012 filing, they have acquired a further 16 acres, raising their owned land from 258 acres to 274 acres.

Hi Sniper,

One of the guys in our investment group who works in Bangalore told that. It seems he saw some ground leveling works while driving from Attibele side to Sarjapur.

Regards,
Ashwin

I visited the place today. Spoke to the watchman at the infosys site. He said no activity is going on now at the site. Sobha, who is the contractor for infosys has completed compounding the site completely.

I had visited Sabic earlier. Construction happening in full swing over there. The Shriram Smrithi marketing guy said 10 people associated with Sabic had made a booking in Shriram which is around 4 kms from Sabic.

I visited the place last friday, never saw any development started yet. However its fixed that it will be started soon as the wall has already been put there. Along with Infy, Azim Premji University will add some more value. Buying property in that place in between 1200 and 1600 wont be a bad deal at all. Surely will be a good steal place after 5-6 years.
