Thumbs up BCCI buys NCA land for Rs 46 cr

NEW DELHI: The National Cricket Academy (NCA), the supply line of Indian cricket, will soon have a new address. The Indian cricket board (BCCI) has already bought 32 acres of land for the NCA from the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board. The board has paid Rs 46 crore for acquiring the land.

According to BCCI, this new complex will be built in the Kadgurki and Yemrahallo villages of Devanahalli Taluk. This is near the new Bangalore airport. Earlier, 32 acres of land was allotted to the BCCI in Bidadi Industrial Area, Ramanagara Taluk, but the board was keen on a land new the airport.

NCA currently functions out of the Chinnaswamy stadium complex. "It's helpful for those cricketers who come here for training and rehabilitation programmes. The new complex will be exciting for the young cricketers," an NCA official told TOI on Monday.

Default is possible to work in bangalore city and stay in wellworth city

Hi all

I have bookes a falt in wellworth city . But not yet decided if i will confirm the booking . i want to know is it possible to stay in wellworth city and work in bangalore. All IT Companies are away from dodaballapur road. Also doddabalapur road looks busy and may not be safe driving everyday 20 + KM up and down to city . There is also No Volvo bus or proper service for IT EMPLOYEES towards city . In this case how this city will be worth ? The location is good and best in bangalore for relaxing and spending weekends . But if none of the people living there is not in apostion to travel 40 km a day for work . How is it a right investment. Also there is no companies around the wellworth city then how we will rent it out ..also there are 1000 flats within city coming up...so we cannot expect a good rent may..be 4000 or 5000 max....no one will give a rent of 7000 + in that remote area when the same price is available. Iam still not sure..if it is worth or builders are just attracting peopel with low cost flats ? Can someone help me.

You have made a good point. Don't buy any apt for the purpose of investing.
Its a myth that u can make money by investing in an apt. (unless the apt is at very good location). The second sale market for apt is poor. You can buy a new apt instead of paying big for a second hand apt.

Unless your company moves to some SEZ located near BIA, buying an apt is not going make sense. Its better to buy land instead of apt.

Question to all -

Also, whats the big deal in staying close to BIA ? Are u going to be flying in & out of b'lore everyday ? U might want to look at other stuff like - schools, hospitals, shopping complexes etc.
