A recent survey carried out by DTZ states that as many as 10 malls with 5,00,000 sq ft to 10,00,000 sq ft built up area are likely to come up in Bangalore over the next three years. According to industry estimates, a number of malls are coming up in tier-II cities, including Mangalore, Mysore, Belgaum and Hubli. Gibson Vedamani, chief executive officer, Retailers’ Association of India (RAI), confirmed the proposed developments.
