Land/plots are available in BMRDA approved layouts near Shriram Smrithi for around Rs 1000 per sq ft. If a group of 8 guys join together, it is possible to buy 8000 sq ft (2 * 50x80) with 10 Lakhs investment per head. BMRDA plots can be amalgamated legally and all the owners names can be incorporated into the 8K sq ft land title.
For 8K sq ft, with the Floor-Area-Ratio considered at 3.5, the total built up area would be 28K sq ft. The building cost involved on a per sq ft basis is max of Rs 1,000 per sq ft with top class quality - outsourced to a constructor of your choice. Do your math and calculate the cost involved per sq ft. It is an amazing 1285 per sq ft. So you are paying the remaining money to these developer guys to issue full page Ads in money-oriented journals like Times Of India or to the illegal hoardings taking away the peace & tranquility of erstwhile Bangalore. Having said that, investing in good projects for lower cost is definitely a smart thing to do. All I am suggesting is that you could be a little more smarter. This also ensures you're not at the mercy of some developer. |

There are 90 or so families staying there now. Shriram has made arrangement for basic items like vegetables, milk, newspaper, laundryman etc. They have plans of putting up a retail/ grocery store inside because 1300 flats are coming up. Not sure when that will be operational |

i Dont think shriram had made some arrangement . there is a small vegetable shop under the tree out side Shriram.
Other the people residing are making their own arrangements for Vegetable or groceries . One has to go to Hosur nearest city for that... you can also get at Attibelli also .. |

For Gas connection, I dont know if there are any public gas agencies nearby, what I heard is the existing residents have taken private connections.
There is a small vegetable shop outside and I also noticed a kirana store near the project, on the opposite side. Shriram guys said they will be having a departmental store inside as well. There are public Ksrtc buses from majestic, sarjapur, anekal plying on the same road and the bus stop is nearby. I dont know which school buses have services, if any. I doubt there would be private school buses on that road. Maybe 2 years down the line, there could be something. Night time lights, I dont know how the place looks. I have also seen the place only in daylight ![]() STRR is on paper. The survey and alignment markings have been completed. You can see that on BMRDA website. I dont know when this will come up. The Peripheral ring road which was planned much earlier has still not been completed due to land acquisition issues. What you be sure of is there is a good usable road right in front of the complex, unlike few projects which come up on mud roads. |

Hi All,
I also have purchased 2 BHK (1395 sq.ft) in West (WF) block in Shriram Smrithi. Anyone from the same block? I got the information that someone has started Day Care and Activity Centers for kids (2-15 years) in SB Block. Please correct me if this is a wrong information.
