Default What to buy a flat near Gubbalala Gate, Bangalore

Hi Guys,

Is anyone staying near Doddakallasandra or Gubbalala Gate area ? I have no idea about that area and wanted some inputs about people and commutes in that area ?

Is there frequent and good BMTC facility available ?

Is it good idea to buy a home there for family stay(not for real estate business) ?

I have seen a flat around 200 meters away (to kanakapura side) from Gubalala Gate. Im only worried about the area, which feels like remote from Bangalore.

--> Is there frequent BMTC buses to that area from BSK at night times ?

What is the easiest way to come to MarthaHalli bridge from that area ?

Thanks

Even I am looking for flats in that area. There are some big builders around - Mantri Tranquil, Chartered & Jain Swadesh. It is claimed that it is a potential spot due to its proximity to ISKCON. There are also Jayanagar Housing Society plots around. So, looks like, in due course, it would turn into a good residential place. However, the slums around 500 m away in that area is a dampener. Access is not that great. There are only two BMTC bus which comes till Jain Swadesh. The frequent access route is to get down at the Gubbalala cross at the Uttarahalli-Kengeri road and walk about 1 km !
Not sure of auto service. I visited the cluster of houses and couple of apartments and looks well settled. Prices are in the range from 2800-3200 for flats per sq. ft. Not sure of land price. Looking at the price and the emerging new apartments (at least 4 from local builders) it looks a good bet. However, access is the sore point.
What is great abt this place, at least for the next 5 years, is its serenity and within 2 km of all amenities ! So ppl. with own vehicles and who love a peaceful weekend, this is a good idea. And anyways, you find that all new big projects are moving more remoter and public transport access is not always great in those places. These were my sincere views and I would love to hear more from those how have have visited or live in this neighborhood.
