Plot in Mullanpur Village Palheri, Chandigarh - Indian Real Estate Forum

Hi,

Few days back I saw an ad in the classified newspaper of a society giving plots in Mullanpur near Chandigarh. I visited their officer and they are offering 300 sq yard plot for Rs. 11000 per sq yard.

They are selling plots under a society named: The India Co-Op House Building Society Ltd. and their website is: Indian Co-op House Building Society Ltd. Mullanpur , New Chandigarh Indain Society

I asked for details etc. and they told me that Sector 4E, Mullanpur (Village Palheri) is their site and their brand name is: Suntec City.

They also showed me the site which is farm land only and showed the marked land etc. They have also put flags on the boundary etc. They are saying they have already aquired 100 acers and they are doing more.

As per their website their society is registered etc. and on gmada also they are showing as promoter.

I also checked other builders like DLF, Omaxe, Manhor Singh etc. but they are all very expensive and out of my budget. But this Suntec City is kind of in my budget. Hence I wanted to clarify the following:

1. Are these guys genuine ?
2. They say they will offer possession in Dec. 2013 (I can wait)
3. Are they really going to give what they are saying ?

Please shed some more light on them.

Well, at 300 sy@11000, its a 33 lac rupee qoustion! :-p I hope you get some decent answers from some knowledgeable ppl!

Go through this thread and check the authenticity of this developer . What is the penalty on builder if he doesn't give possession in DEC 2013 - Can you bind him legally with some sort of Financial penalty ?

If something sounds too good to be true it usually is...
