Approval for land and building
I'm planning to construct a house and so, I'll have the get the approval for the land and the building. How much will it cost to get the approval. I have been hearing people say that it will take more than a lakh.

Money depends on what are you applying for. Just getting approval wont cost that much. It depends on location too. In city, it cost it more. If you are going for subdivision plan along with approval, it will costs you more.

Thanks Sundar. Even I'm not sure wat a subdivision plan is. Could you please throw some light??I just want to construct a house and live there. Area is Surapet neat Ambattur.

Thanks Praks. So, how much would it cost to get the land and the new building plan approved from CMDA for 2400 sq.ft near Surapet in Ambattur??

Sorry, I was't visit the forum. Subdivision plan does not apply to you since you are owning the entire plot. Approval cost should not exeed 30K and depends on your size of the house. If its exeeds more than 100 sqft, you may need to pay something extra.

Building Approval
I don't know how much it will charge for Land Approval. However i was also applied for building approval (DTCP) for my land. I have submitted the planing documents on Dec'2009 till this moment i didn't get any reply.
They are expecting huge bribe amount. When i ask about, what is the government rate for approval per sq.feet basis there is no proper reply. Also when they will come for inspection of my land no reply  I think goverment should try to bring the online approval system to all the zones very soon then only we can escape from these human blood suckers.  Hope i will get the approval soooooon. |
