Best Developing place to buy a land/plot in chennai? - Indian Real Estate Forum

Hi,
I a looking to buy a residential land in chennai. Can you please let me know which would be the best place to buy currently in terms of development in the area. And also i would like to know what would be the approx. cost of the land.

OMR upto Kelambakkam is a safe bet to invest but cost of lands would be expensive if the property is on close proximity to the OMR. Other areas include GST road upto Chengalpet and Chennai-Kanchipuram road upto Oragadam.

Iyappanthangal/ Kattupakkam are very good areas for buying plot.

Close to DLF IT park / by pass road/ NH/ lot of colleges / schools..

Rate around 20 L - 50 L

ECR is a very long terma nd sensible option. It will appreciate like crazy in the next three years.

Pallavaram Thoraipakkam 200ft road surrounding .

Here you find lots of vacant land. But not sure how faster it will grow , as i see for the last four years it is off the same situation.

we even have a IT techpark construction going on near by Vels college.

land rates around ~45l/ground

I would like to invest around 15L to purchase a land. No idea to construct home for another 3 years out there but I need an idea of developing area. Can someone suggest me good areas for this investment? I'm looking at options in OMR and GST!

1) Best location (preferably near OMR)

2) Best builders and on going / upcomming project

3) Reasonable rate

4) Good appreciation in future and good monthly rental.
