Dear members,

I am planning to construct an independent house in Thilla Ganga Nagar, Railway line lines in the North of the plot. On the East side there is a 20 Feet road.

Now, i am interested in being guided on:

a. whether i need to take approval or NOC for construction from Southern Railways. If yes, who is the competent authority and his postal address is required to get in touch with him/her.

b. whether approval for plan and construction is need to be obtained from Alandur Municipality or DTCP or CMDA.

c. what are the procedures followed to obtain the required NOC from Railways and building permit/approval from the appropriate authorities?

d. what is the going rate of construction cost in that area? ( i am interested in stilt parking, marble flooring etc)

e. what vaastu sastra says about placing main entrance, kitchen, bedroom, hall, bathroom, toilet in the proposed house construction.

i think i am asking for too much..........but different experts may post their views, ideas, guidance suitably (with all sincerity and genuineness) which will be highly appreciated and i shall ever remain thankful to members for the appropriate guidance in the forum.
