Ecopolis, Vedanthangal... Is it worth buying plots there? - Indian Real Estate Forum

The project is going to be launched on 3rd July 2009 by Ramky-Wavoo Developers. Only plots are sold. Initial offer Rs. 99PSF. I am not sure if it is really worth buying it. Can members share their views?

the sq ft rate there is about 50-60/sq ft .

Ecopolis Farmland Project located next door to the Famous Bird Sanctuary at Vedanthangal (60-75 Minutes drive from the Chennai city). Phase I of the 150 Acre project has been successfully launched in a BIG way last week. More than 70Plots (out of 145 plots) have been booked so far. Only 75 Plots are available now.

The Price is Rs.120 per sq.ft. Size of each plot is little over quarter acre starting from 11033 Sq.ft. The Club House at 4.5 acres is under construction and it will be opened in Oct’ 2009.

The facilities offered include well developed and wide avenue roads with solar lights, A Modern club house with swimming pool, Gym, indoor games, Multi-cuisine Restaurant, Luxury rooms, play courts for Beach volley ball, Basket ball, Badminton, tennis as well as putting green, etc.

Two Model Farm houses have also been offered for view which of course can be built for you at an extra cost.

yes it is a nice place - Vedanthangal. It will take around 2hrs to zip through in your car. Hectic traffic now on the GST road. Drive time for people who are travelling from the city outskirts to this place. It's better said farmlands instead of plots. Good for money bags!!!
