Talking identifiying location for investment

Seems a good idea to see where the major builders are
constructing apartments. (viz jain hsing etc).

Have a feeling they would have done some research
about the locationa nd buying plots close to these
should be intersting.

Anyone has any suggestions if this might work!!!!!!

Hi anand,

U r late. the prices would have already factored in.

The actual time was in 2002 -2003, just at the start of the prop Boom.

In India, info is goldmine. pricey info available with politico, beurocrats who make profits & feed it to the bldrs also. Thats how the cycle goes. Ignorance is a money making proposition for those privy to it.

Honestly, to get mileage , first start with gathering info abt development plans (DP) then start scouting opportunistic buying , cnf bldrs/politico/front organisation r starting buying in a particular area.
It's a bit risky also, if court intervenes, policy changes, environmental clearances get stuck etc.

So u r trying to buy where large apartments r coming, prices would have been factored as i said earlier with little scraps left for us public.
