Material requirement for residential buildings
The approximate requirement of Construction materials for an individual house of 1000 sqft area is as below :
Cement : 326 bags Sand : 1170 cuft 10mm size stone aggregate : 180 cuft 20mm size stone aggregate : 330 cuft Bricks : 28840 nos Reinforcement steel : 800-900kg Assumptions: 1. Load bearing brick wall thickness of 23cm (9 inches) in cement mortar 1:6 2. Plaster in cement mortar 1:4 |

material requirement for construction
Good info. Can u also please highlight the requirement of steel grills for windows, balcony and wood reuirement for doors,windows and pipes for
sanitary lines. Also please clarify whther the steel,cement jelly advised include sump and overhead tank,septic tank etc. If not can u highlight on those lines too. what is the latest method for weathering course to curtail induction of heat thru' the roof. thanks. |
