A similar poll is created 6 months back, and things are lot different now. Where do you think the RE will head in 2010.

I feel it will be stagnant or go little up till world govts push money in to the economy. Will come to know the real state after that and I don't see any rise after. only fall...Fall... and Fall.

Looks like from the poll result that a majority expect a steady to reasonably growing RE which sounds rational and a slightly lesser crowd expecting terrible drop in RE. High rise and moderate drop dont seem to be finding takers. This means technically either the bears are going to win or are going to be taken out so badly. In other words technically prices are going to nose dive (I dont expect this personally) or it is going to shoot up (I expect this). The ones waiting on sidelines are either going to miss out if it rises up or terrorised to never buy in their lifetime if it crashes!
Just a Technical analyst view! |

Hello Friends, I am definitely not a real estate expert. But i have been watching real estate in chennai since last nine years and more closely over last two years. I can tell you all with conviction that confidence is coming back to the real estate. Projects are getting booked and work is progressing in fair pace. Therefore, one can safely assume that in near term there will be hardening of price and will go up by min 10%.
warm regards ganesan |

Property price will increase in Chennai definitely. Atleast 10 to 20%.
I don't see any reason or expect chennai property price to drop. |
