I just read this -



there are two types of karma ---visible or outer and invisible or inner intent..
visible karma is the work or reactions we show to others
insible karma is what we think inside of our mind when we do something or interact with others
visible karma is effect and invisible karma is the cause.
so, if i want to change my life, i have to change my inner intent.
my inner intent should always be pure..so that effect must be pure..
and in more advanced stage, when there will be no inner intent, there will be no new cause, i have to only release the effects of previous causes
when all the stock will finish and no new cause, then what will happen ?...i do not know...i do not think i will be able to do that...no body can do that
what i can do is i can change my inner intent from bad to good
i can make my intent full of love

Friends,

I just got the news that one of my known person has just passed away (guy in early 40's). He was the CEO of a Global Investment Company. He died while delivering a lecture to B School Grads.

I had met him last in Middle East few weeks back. He was a great guy.

I am just jolted to the core right now.

And it brings me to the question which my frnd Rushil asked yesterday - "Where is the celebration of life"

Where will this mad race for success and money take us?

Are we taking things we have (family, life, health, happiness) for granted?

Are we giving more importance to things in life which do not matter at all?

What will we take us when we leave this place?

I think its time to ponder over these things, then just loosing our sleep and life over futile things like money, recession, real estate, ROI, Worst investment, best investment, global crisis etc

PS - The irony of life. He is still added on my BB contacts with the picture of his smiling face and with the status message "Just get few big few big things right".

One day, a rich dad took his son on a trip.Wanted to show him how poor someone can be. They spent time on the farm of a poor family.

On the way home, dad asked, “Did you see how poor they are? What did you learn?”.

Son said, “We have one dog, they have four, we have pool, they have rivers, we have lanterns at night, they have stars, we buy foods, they grow theirs, we have walls to protect us, they have friends, we have encyclopedias, they have Bible.

” Then they headed, “Thanks dad for showing me how poor we are.”


MORAL LESSON: It’s not about money that make us rich, it’s about simplicity of having God in our lives.

There is a story about a man who sold hot dogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he
never read newspapers . He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His
eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hot
dogs. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more meat and got himself a bigger and a
better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from
college, joined his father.
Then something strange happened. The son asked, "Dad, aren't you aware of the great
recession that is coming our way?" The father replied, "No, but tell me about it." The son
said, "The international situation is terrible. The domestic is even worse. We should be
prepared for the coming bad time." The man thought that since his son had been to
college, read the papers, and listened to the radio, he ought to know and his advice
should not be taken lightly. So the next day, the father cut down his order for the meat
and buns, took down the sign and was no longer enthusiastic. Very soon, fewer and
fewer people bothered to stop at his hot dog stand. And his sales started coming down
rapidly. The father said to his son, "Son, you were right. We are in the middle of a
recession. I am glad you warned me ahead of time."

The assumption is that the recession his son was talking about never came. If this were 2008/09, I think the son's advice would have been spot on

'India heading for Mars, doesn't need British aid money'

London, Aug 17 (IANS) India, which has announced it will send a space probe to Mars, is now a country with more technological prowess than Britain and the "best and most beautiful spoken English in the world" is now heard in India, the Telegraph said Friday.

In an article titled "India is heading for Mars: it doesn't need British aid money to pay the bills", columnist Theodore Dalrymple said foreign aid does not help any poor countries, "it just corrupts their governments".
The writer said he was "well placed to appreciate the absurdity of continued British aid to India".

"It is not only absurd: it is corrupt," he wrote.

Quoting former Indian finance minister Pranab Mukherjee - now the president - that India did not need British aid which was "peanuts" anyway, Dalrymple said though Mukherjee was right, his statement "was met by almost grovelling British requests to continue aid to India".

The writer said that in this "urgent desire to send aid to our former possession", there was the "hangover of a colonial superiority complex".

The British believe that if they give India aid, "it must be because they need it and therefore that we are superior to them in some way".

Britain, however, failed to notice that an Indian company took over Land Rover and Jaguar, as the task was beyond Britain's organisational powers.
It was not British aid that caused India to develop, but the efforts of its own people.

"Aid is neither a necessary nor a sufficient condition of the economic development of a poor country; there is no country that has been lifted out of poverty by aid, which is a form of international social security for corrupt governments," Dalrymple said.

"India has a long, varied, glorious (and terrible) history of civilisation, with the sophistication necessary to absorb influences from abroad, including Western scientific ones."

"The best and most beautiful spoken English in the world is now to be heard in India. It is outrageous that we condescend to it with our paltry aid, just to pay the mortgages of aid workers."

He, however, said India still has many problems, including corruption.

"It remains profoundly corrupt and its government is incapable of passing necessary reforms. Rural poverty is deep and persistent. Nevertheless, it is not so very long ago that all right-thinking people saw the future of India as hopeless, one of perpetual epidemic and recurring famine," Dalrymple said.
He said India's "young population thirsts for real education in a way than much of ours (Britain's) does not".

He questioned India's tally of medals at the 2012 London Olympics.

"One manifestation of the underlying wisdom of India is its low tally of medals at the Olympic Games, only six - none gold - when it has a sixth of the world's population. Its young people have more important things to do than put the shot or throw the javelin," the writer said.

A little boy went to a telephone booth which was at the cash counter of a store and dialed a number.

The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:

Boy : "Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?

Woman : (at the other end of the phone line) "I already have someone to cut my lawn."

Boy : "Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price than the person who cuts your lawn now."

Woman : I'm very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting
my lawn.

Boy : (with more perseverance) "Lady, I'll even sweep the floor and the stairs of your house for free.

Woman : No, thank you.

With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.

Store Owner : "Son... I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."

Boy : "No thanks,

Store Owner : But you were really pleading for one.

Boy : No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!"
