Default Withdrawing Money from PF and PPF

hi all,

I want to empty my PF and PPF. Have you ever done this before? Please share your experience?

1. How is PPF money given to you? By cash? Paid in account? or any other instrument?

2. How is PF money withdrawn? By cash? Account? or any other instrument?

Both are paid directly to your account or by cheque... I dont think that PF and PPF account will liquidate directly to cash...

for PF.. you account should be at-least 5 year old in company OR all companies you worked for (if PF is transferred)... you can withdraw PF up to 80-90% of total PF value... based on nature (marriage, house purchase, education, etc etc).. If your company manage own Trust than you may get PF amount in week else.. 2 months...

If you withdraw PF for marriage (relative/own) than you will be given cheque/fund transfer in favor of your name/a/c transfer.. If you withdraw PF for house purchase/education... than cheque will be made in favor of builder....

For withdrawing PF you need to be atleast 6 months with the company ...I am currently employed with the 8th company in my 7 years of IT career till date...Have always withdrawn complete PF amount from each of these companies...without any issues...Have never transferred the account to new company till date..
