3 hotel sites’ auction fetches DDA Rs 574 cr - Indian Real Estate Forum

THE Delhi Development Authority (DDA) today sold out three of the six hotel sites scheduled for auction at Vikas Sadan today. With this, the total number of plots sold this year has become 15.

The plots sold today are at Shahdara Central Business District in the east, Shalimar Bagh District Centre in the north and Dwarka Sector-14 in the south.

All three plots measuring 8,446 sq m, 6,151 sq m, and 24,355 sq m, respectively, were sold for a total amount of Rs 574.059 crore as against the reserve price of Rs 547.78 crore. The biggest plot was at Dwarka which fetched the highest bid of Rs 449.91 crore. No bids were received for hotel sites at Dwarka Sector 10, Twin District Centre in Rohini and Shastri Park District Centre.

It is expected that the construction on these plots will commence soon and hotels will be ready before the Commonwealth Games.
