Great, u can write a thesis on Emaar & earn good money . But r u blind to other builders or is there some special love here or some other special motivation ?

Default Cunning EMMR has swallowed my money

EMMR on the whole is very cunning lot. I bought an Apartment from them back in 2006 and still they have not laid a singler brick and I am suing them for refund of my money. This shows how good or reliable, this builder is. My project name is- the views- Mohali Hills, Mohali, near chandigarh.

I bought an Apartment from them in their Mohali project and despite paying them full price in advance four years ago, not a single brick has been laid by them so far. So, please stay away from them unless you want to be in similar boat as myself in future.

Default Allotment of a wrong flat

Inspired by Agastya07,


had booked a flat with Emaar MGF having 1020 SFT area 2 BR 1 study. I agreed to pay the PLC for the flat and selected a unit. The flat number and the unit area is mentioned on my booking form copy that they received. After about 40 days I was provided the allotment letter. This letter had the same flat number listed but it mentioned that the Area of the flat is 1310 SFT and has 3BR + 1 Study. I spoke to them and they say that at the time of booking the flat there was some confusion at thier end and if require I can opt for this 3 BR unit or take a refund. Both the options are not acceptable to me as the 3BR flat is out of my budget and costs 12 lacs more. Taking a refund will leave me stranded as in that location all projects are now sold out and all new project have bigger flats and out of my budget. Please advise.

I myself investor in MGF where they have not started a digging after a year , I dont want to bring name of Emmar as they are big name in Middle east, I have never seen a such a fraud builder who every day announce one project and never starts old one ,and if by mistake they start one, never finishes.And what a quality that with out giving a single project they claim to be in league DLF and Unitech.They dont have guts to bring IPO as share price will reflect their actual status and they will be exposed as till now they are not.
