Haryana govt can divert development fund from fbd to rohtak but it cant do the same thing to Metro project, so the maximum damage can be done by delaying as much as possible which they are doing.

Faridabad portion probably is targeted to be concluded much earlier however. As per information available in public domain, this is targeted for commercial run by 2014 dec. (give another 6 months max) Still, do share any other pertinent information that may not be available in public domain.. In any case with sector roads coming to existence soon and metro on track i visualise maximum potential out of Faridabad RE from current levels and see Faridabad moving out of the shadow of a unethical builders soon.. Aaj lokayukt ki karawahi hui hogi corrupt huda officers ke against.. so can expect some govt action against erring builders for flouting licencing conditions.. Recently most have issued the EWS flats after similar action.. Lot more action is awaited mate dont worry.. Cheers

मंजूरी मिले बिना मेट्रो का काम शुरू करने पर हूडा प्रशासन नाराज
फरीदाबाद : बदरपुर से वाईएमसीए तक आने वाली मेट्रो के लिए अभी हरियाणा सरकार ने एमओयू साइन कर डीएमआरसी को नहीं दिया है। मगर डीएमआरसी की तरफ से सेक्टर -20 बी में डिपो साइट पर टेंपररी ऑफिस डिवेलप करने के लिए कंस्ट्रक्शन का काम शुरू कर दिया गया है। इस पर हूडा प्रशासन ने नाराजगी जताई है। हूडा प्रशासक का कहना है कि एमओयू साइन हुए बिना किसी भी तरह का काम शुरू होना गलत है। सेक्टर -20 बी में 50 एकड़ जमीन पर मेट्रो डिपो बनाया जाना है। डीएमआरसी ने यहां काम शुरू करने की तैयारी शुरू कर दी है। एमओयू मिलते ही यहां काम शुरू कर दिया जाए। इसके लिए डिपो साइट डिवेलप करने वाली कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी ने यहां अपना टेंपररी ऑफिस डिवेलप करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। हूडा प्रशासक और फरीदाबाद मेट्रो प्रोेजेक्ट की चीफ प्रोजेक्ट ऑफिसर अमनीत पी . कुमार का कहना है कि बिना मंजूरी के इस तरह से काम शुरू करना गलत है। हम लोग डीएमआरसी के अधिकारियों से बात करेंगे कि जब तक एमओयू साइन न हो जाए , तब तक यहां किसी तरह का काम शुरू न किया जाए। -nbt |

The fully-elevated corridor, the longest Metro line in the NCR, will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 2,533 crores by 2016 when the Delhi Metro's Phase-III is expected to be completed. The Badarpur-Faridabad link is an extension of the existing Central Secretariat-Badarpur corridor and will be integrated with it after completion. With an aim to complete the corridor well ahead of schedule, Delhi Metro has floated tenders for construction of all nine elevated station buildings including architectural finishing, water supply, sanitary installation and external development work. Three separate tenders have been issued for construction of these nine stations. The Metro corridor till YMCA Chowk in Faridabad is the longest Metro expansion taken up in the NCR region so far by the Delhi Metro. The route length of 13.875 kilometres will put Faridabad ahead of Gurgaon (7.5 km), NOIDA (7) and Ghaziabad (2.57). Once the corridor becomes operational, Faridabad will become the fourth satellite city in the NCR to be connected through Delhi Metro network. The link is expected to benefits thousands of people who commute to Delhi and back everyday and also others in the NCR. (More) Cheers |
