The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has denied that it had ever signed an MoU with a Dutch company for developing forest land in Faridabad district for residential and commercial purposes.

BJP national secretary Kirit Somaiya had alleged here yesterday that the Dutch Haryana Business Consortium and the HSIIDC had signed an MoU for developing 400 hectares of forest land for residential and commercial purposes.

Describing the allegation as “factually incorrect”, a spokesman of the corporation said neither the HSIIDC nor the Industries Department owned any land in the area. Therefore, there was no question of allotting land to any company.

He clarified that the Dutch Haryana Business Consortium had approached the state government for setting up a project in Faridabad district. Only a statement of interest was signed between the HSIIDC and the consortium in 2006 and no MoU or joint-venture agreement was ever executed. Since the developers failed to get the required approvals and clearances, the project did not take off. — TNS

The administration has failed to stop illegal sand mining in the district. The police is yet to reach the real players.

Denying the allegations, Vinod Kaushik, DCP, Headquarters, said, “The police has come hard on the culprits, and the crime is now under control,” he said.

Last week alleged members of the sand mafia along with the residents of Khedi Kalan village confronted a police team and forcibly took away a JCB machine and a tractor-trolley loaded with sand from them. The police team had conducted a raid at the village after which a JCB machine and a tractor trolley were seized. A group of about hundred persons allegedly manhandled members of the police team, and allegedly tried to run over the members of the police team with the JCB machine and the tractor-trolley.

According to the in-charge of the police station concerned, Pankhuri Kumar, after re-inforcement arrived the police team conducted another raid and took eight dumpers from the village into custody. A stock of sand was also recovered during the raid.

The police has booked Mahesh, Bhopal, Minto, Joginder, Satbir and Singh Raj of Khedi Kalan in the case. The accused are absconding.

In another incident two days ago, the police arrested four persons in two separate incidents along with two tractor-trolleys loaded with sand in Ballabgarh area. The accused are absconding.

The police and the administration have proved ineffective as the ncidents rpove how they are being challenged openly by members of the sand mafia. This belies claims that the law enforcement machinery has got a hold over the sand mafia.

शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग की ओर से जारी नया हाउस टैक्स नोटिफिकेशन नगर निगम अधिकारियों को मिल गया है। इसी के साथ नोटिफिकेशन की अपने अपने तरह से व्याख्या करने का काम भी शुरू हो गया है। इस नोटिफिकेशन में कुछ हिस्से जनता के बड़े काम के हैं। जबकि निगम प्रशासन को हर हाल में अपना नुकसान ही दिख रहा है। इससे एक ओर टैक्स पेयर को मीठा तो प्रशासन को खट्टा अनुभव होगा।
एक जून को राज्य सरकार ने नया हाउस टैक्स स्लैब बनाने की घोषणा की थी। इसकी नोटिफिकेशन कॉपी शुक्रवार को निगम प्रशासन को मिली। इस नोटिफिकेशन के अनुसार कमर्शल, रिहायशी, इंडस्ट्रियल व इंस्टीट्यूशनल सभी प्रकार के प्रोपर्टी मालिकों को बड़ी राहत मिल सकेगी। इसमें 250 वर्ग गज तक के मकानों, 500 वर्ग फुट तक के फ्लैटों और खाली रिहायशी प्लॉटों पर प्रति यूनिट एक रुपया हाउस टैक्स लगेगा। इस टैक्स में निगम प्रशासन चाहे तो 50 परसेंट की छूट भी दे सकता है। जोनल टैक्स ऑफिसर बलवीर सिंह पंवार ने बताया कि 50 परसेंट छूट दो जगह दी गई है। जिसका विश्लेषण जारी है।
नोटिफिकेशन में धार्मिक सम्पत्तियों, अनाथालयों, भिक्षाघरों, नगर निगमों के भवनों, श्मशान, कब्रिस्तान को हाउस टैक्स से 100 परसेंट छूट देने का प्रावधान है। लेकिन इसमें केवल वास्तविक प्रयोग को ही छूट दी गई है। जैसे मंदिर की जमीन पर चल रही किसी भी प्रकार की कमर्शल, इंडस्ट्रियल या रेजिडेंसल एक्टिविटी वाले हिस्से का उसी कैटेगरी का हाउस टैक्स देना होगा।

फरीदाबाद।। नहर पार के एरिया में फ्लैट उपलब्ध कराने का झांसा देकर लोगों से करोड़ों रुपये हड़पने के आरोप में एक बिल्डर ग्रुप के 2 डायरेक्टर को गिरफ्तार किए जाने का मामला प्रकाश में आया है। स्टेट क्राइम ब्यूरो की टीम ने दोनों डायरेक्टरों को रिमांड पर लेकर उनसे पूछताछ की। दोनों को कोर्ट में पेश किया गया, जहां से उन्हें जुडिशल कस्टडी में भेज दिया गया।

इस बिल्डर ग्रुप ने 6 साल पहले 5 एकड़ जमीन खरीदी थी। इसके डायरेक्टर राजेश और मानव हैं। इन्होंने एक अन्य ग्रुप से साढे़ पांच एकड़ जमीन खरीदी। कुल साढ़े 10 एकड़ जमीन पर इनकी 11 सौ फ्लैट बनाने की योजना चल रही है। आरोप है कि इन्होंने लोगों को फ्लैट देने के बाबत रुपया तो ले लिया लेकिन उनको समय पर फ्लैट नहीं दे पाए।

आरोप है कि 2006 में इन्होंने लोगों से पैसा लेना शुरू किया और कहा कि साढ़े तीन साल में फ्लैट को बनाकर दे देंगे। वादे के मुताबिक लोगों को फ्लैट नहीं मिले और न ही लोगों को उनका पैसा मिल पाया। इस मामले में संबंधित थाने में भी शिकायतें दी गईं, लेकिन कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई। इसके बाद 4 से 5 शिकायत स्टेट क्राइम ब्यूरो के पास आई। इसके बाद केस दर्ज किए गए और कार्रवाई अमल में लाई गई। बताया गया कि दोनों डायरेक्टरों को पुलिस ने अरेस्ट किया था। स्टेट क्राइम ब्यूरो की टीम ने कोर्ट से राजेश और मानव को प्रॉडक्शन वॉरंट पर लिया और उसके बाद रिमांड पर लेकर पूछताछ की। एसपी बिजेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि दोनों आरोपियों का जुडिशल कस्टडी में भेज दिया गया है।

फरीदाबाद। शहर के कई इलाकाें में नगर निगम द्वारा सप्लाई किया जा रहा पीने का पानी अशुद्ध है। इसका प्रमाण हाल ही में स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा लिए गए सैंपलों से मिला है। विभाग ने तीन दिन पूर्व पानी के15 सैंपल लिए थे, जो सभी फेल हो गए हैं। गौरतलब है इससे पूर्व विभाग द्वारा लिए गए 205 पानी के सैंपलों में से 188 फेल हो चुके हैं। सैंपल फेल होने पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग नगर निगम को पत्र लिखेगा और जलापूर्ति सही करने को कहेगा।
जिला स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. पीसी आर्या ने बताया कि मौसम में बदलाव हो रहा है। थोड़ी-बहुत बारिश भी हो गई है। इसके कारण पानी में अशुद्धता बढ़ने की संभावना है। शहरी व ग्रामीण इलाकाें के लिए अलग-अलग टीमाें का गठन किया गया है। टीमें अपने-अपने इलाकों में सर्वे व सैंपल एकत्रित करेंगी। अभियान के दौरान सैंपल की रिपोर्ट 24 घंटों में आ जाए इस बात पर भी ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।
