India’s first Summit Hotel launches in New Delhi - Indian Real Estate Forum

A partnership between the Nikko Hotel and the Preferred Hotels & Resorts brand has seen the New Delhi property re-branded and re-launched as The Metropolitan Hotel, and signifies the first Summit property in India.

A five-star luxury hotel located in downtown New Delhi’s Connaught Place, the renowned property is also home to one of the best Japanese restaurants in New Delhi.

Ananya Narayan, Preferred Hotel Group Asia Pacific’s Managing Director said, “We are thrilled that The Metropolitan Hotel New Delhi - a formerly franchised Nikko Hotel - is partnering with Summit Hotels & Resorts to be our first Summit property in India.

“Preferred Hotel Group has proven to be a successful partner for many independent hotels and we aim to achieve the same success in the dynamic city of New Delhi.”

The 180-roomed property had just been refurbished to offer all the latest updates in technology, with a new hotel-wide Wi-Fi service and dedicated Club Floor rooms for the business traveller, the new property is looking better than ever.

In response, Vipul Gupta, The Metropolitan Hotel New Delhi Director said, “We are pleased to be a member of the prestigious Summit Hotels & Resorts, the brand that stands for the same vision and passion for excellence as The Metropolitan Hotel New Delhi, and look forward to growing our business together.”

Hotel facilities include four on-site restaurants and bars, one of which is a 24-hour restaurant, a Zen Serena Spa, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.
