The recently concluded Mumbai Property Bazaar exhibition 2007 received a tremendous response.
The exhibition provided a platform for the consumers to meet all the major real estate builders and developers in and around Goa, Karjat, Khardi, Khopoli, Lonavala, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, Navi Mumbai, Neral, Pune, Ratnagiri and Talegaon under one roof. The exhibition threw light on the potential and upcoming areas in Tier II cities like Pune, Nagpur, Nasik and Goa. The event tried to shift the focus from Mumbai real estate to other cities in the state and across, charting out affordable options for the customers. Besides 2BHK and 3BHK apartments and penthouses, the event also brought together developers offering plots of land for sale in places like Neral near Matheran, Karjat, Khardi and other nearby villages in the outskirts of Mumbai. The event was primarily targeting those looking out for a second home or a place for investment purposes. One could easily observe the fact that places with strong infrastructure were seen commanding a premium, Wakad being a close example. Having Hinjewadi in its proximity, Wakad did arouse a lot of interest among the visitors. In Pune other places like Wagholi, Talegaon, Aundh, Hadapsar were brought in to the spotlight. Anjuna, Arpora, Calangute, Vagator, Aldona, Porvorim were pitched in from Goa. Nagpur was another place resonating all over, thanks to the proposed international airport at Mihan, besides other places like Nashik. People seemed very enthusiastic to explore new places like Goa or Nagpur for investment purpose. On the residential side, Pune remained the winner. Besides property seekers, the event also saw many students from architecture background attending the exhibition to have a first hand feel of market trends. The event has come in with a surprise element, making one aware about the movement in the property market and can help the property seekers plan their investments accordingly. |
