It has now become easier for the real estate investors to analyze thier investment portfolios! US State Street has unveiled a suite of online analytics and risk assessment tools, in partnership with Resolve Technology.
As the real estate industry involves tedious manual reconciliation, an automated evaluation environment is definitely a welcome change. This helps investors to self analyse their individual real estate assets and facilitate in portfolio management. Such a process could be a boon for the real estate investors in India as well. If anyone has more information on this, please share here. Last edited by Rajita; 07-06-07 at 11:06 AM. |

Hello Rajita:
We have done a lot of research in this area and as of now there appears to be no such development like this in Indian market. The reasons are two fold: 1. The primary technology (GIS that is used) is still not implemented fully in Indian due to want to data and several other issues. 2. Real Estate information (past transaction details, ownership change, age of structure etc) are not available digitally, like in the west! Hopefully things will change in future!!!
