Property expo targets NRIs
A MAJOR property exhibition aimed at non-resident Indians (NRIs) living in the Gulf is set to take place in Bahrain next month.
Homes of India, being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), aims to develop awareness among the large number of NRIs in the region about the investment potential of the Indian real estate sector.
Builders and developers, architects, banks and financial institutions, interior designers, legal advisers from the south of India and other parts of the country will be among those taking part in the three-day event, starting on February 1, 2007.

More than 30 builders from India are participating and will promote luxurious and "semi-luxurious" apartments and villa projects in the Indian cities of Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kochi and Pune.
