Good news for property buyers !!!
As a phenomenal hike of 3-per cent is triggered by banks over home loan interest rates, in the past 18 months, a number of people must be finding it difficult to cope up with the subsequent increase in EMI amount. Now, in case, someone defaults in paying his/ her instalment, builders charge penalties at their own will--often unreasonably. The Real Estate Management and Regulation Bill would address the issue by setting the maximum limit of penalty to 1% of the due amount. Finally, some light at the end of the tunnel !!!
