Hi everyone,
I would like to bring to the notice of all fellow members that there is a noticeable trend going these days- of giving 'buyback' offers on residential plots and flats. I had this experience a couple of times, once in the case of a flat in Pune and now for a plot in Lucknow. While the sellers were researched upon and found to be reliable, their strategy is still beyond my comprehension. The broker in case of the Lucknow plot was assuring a sum of Rs 24,00,000 for a plot worth 12,50,000 in 24 months. So I have the following queries: 1. Are such offers genuine? 2. If they are, how do the brokers manage to break even? 3. Is it safe to invest in such offers, and with what legal precautions? Thanks. |
