Greater Noida is now coming up in a big way as an industrial and educational hub. Major players are now focussing on developing infrastructure here as the place offers good connectivity and enough unexplored land. Ansal API, one of the oldest real estate players, is developing independent bungalows, premium floors, highrise apartments at Megapolis, small and large offices in Corporate Park in Noida and IT offices in the IT SEZ in Greater Noida.

Yes its coming up well all right. The International airport is almost ready and they are planning to shut down the IGI in Delhi considering its word class features, even Swarnabhumi in Thailand, Hethrow, Gawick, JFK etc is sending experts to Gr Noida to study the world class infrastructure to be replicated their.

CWG comitte has decided to shift the Venue to Greater Noida (Jaypee Sports City).

The Night Safari is giving stiff competiton to Singapore....

The property rates are zooooming (imagine a simple 2 BHK LIG flat going upwards 1 Crore)

People say this is just a trailor in a few years once the Boraki Railway station becomes operational New Delhi railway station may get shut down and all traffic will be diverted to the new Greater Noida Station.

In the last 30 years Capital Delhi had witness, large inflow of people, towards Delhi, to earn livelihood, and because of that the capital is just packed, in terms of traffic and population. The state and central Govt. also want to make Delhi a less congested city. Sealing of shops in non conforming areas, closing of Industrial units in the name of pollution is only a step forward in this direction. There are talks of one tax rate, common police and common civic agency for NCR areas. Formation of NCR planning board is done only to achive these goals. So in the next 30 years, inflow of people will be more towards neighbouring areas of Delhi or say National Capital Region(NCR). New is always better and these areas just like Greater Noida are providing cheap land, better infrastructure and world class facilities. Some 20-25 years ago, a family living inside Chandni Chowk area was considered as a rich family, but as of now the things are totally changed, imagine a family living in kucha's of Chandni Chowk.
After 10 years while travelling on the Greater Noida Expressway it will give a view as you are travelling in Singapore, but at that time the land in these areas will be very much costly.

Deepak, my experience of India tells me, 10 years from now expressway wil be jammed with third rate vehicles which can hardly move at 20KMPH and they will talk about building a bypass for the expressway :p.

Very well said, I am sick and tired of hearing GN stories of how rapidly the city is growing.

I have a lot of friends who thought the same and bought houses in 2005-2006 sayin it will be a great place to live by 2010.

Guess what, they are living there and curse themselves. I have heard them calling it a ghost city, lack of security, amenities, schools, hospitals.
Unless the basic amenities come there no one will move. Making GN and Yamuna Expressway will not make people move
