Chandigarh (even better) is too much brother, dont know which area you belong to, if you ever visited Chandigarh...or not. There is no comparision between infra at Chandigarh and other so called planned cities... the wider roads, roundabouts, big bunglows, big kothis, less than 100sq yards NOTHING (as per plan). Moreover the lake, rock garden, rose garden , hanging garden , and above all the Cluture and CRIME FREE

Chandigarh is well connected to the whole world. Road, Train and AIR connectivity. GN is i guess still have buses from Delhi after 45 minutes or half an hour span.

hence requesting, to reframe your words, it can be somewhat near to chandigarh but no way better at all.

That is true that Chandigarh is far better at this stage but I guess what he wanted to say is GN is planning to be better than it (may be his personal view). You are in present he is in future. So no point comparing two places.

I personally would love to live in Chandigarh (though I have home in Delhi) but still invest in GN- West (NE)

एनबीटी न्यूज ॥ सेक्टर - 62 : ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट ( नोएडा एक्सटेंशन ) में फ्लैट खरीदने वालों को कॉरपोरेशन बैंक लोन देने को तैयार हो गया है। एनसीआर प्लानिंग बोर्ड से अप्रूवल मिलने के बाद बैंक ने यह कदम उठाया है। एक्सपो सेंटर में लगे प्रॉपर्टी फेयर में यह बात शनिवार को कॉरपोरेशन बैंक के सीएमडी अजय कुमार ने दी। वह यहां बतौर मुख्य अतिथि मौजूद थे। उन्होंने बताया कि ग्राहकों के लिए बैंक ने 50 लाख रुपये तक की हाउसिंग लोन की स्कीम ग्रांड फेस्टिवल बोनांजा लॉन्च किया है।

बैंक के डीजीएम गुरु हरिनाधा राव और के . बी . शिवकुमार ने बताया कि ग्रेनो वेस्ट में बनने वाले फ्लैटों के लिए बैंक ने लोन देने का फैसला लिया है। बिना विवादित वाली जमीन पर बनने वाले फ्लैटों को बैंक फाइनेंस करेगा। स्पेशल स्कीम के तहत 50 लाख रुपये तक का लोन 30 साल तक के पीरियड के लिए दिया जाएगा। वह भी केवल बेस रेट यानी 10.5 पर्सेंट / साल पर। इस स्कीम के अलावा कई अन्य तरह की भी स्कीमें बैंक ने लॉन्च की हैं। जिसमें 5 करोड़ रुपये तक का हाउसिंग लोन देने का प्रावधान है।

किसान आज रुकवाएंगे बिल्डरों का काम


नोएडा : अपनी मांगों को लेकर ग्राम विकास संगठन का अनिश्चितकालीन धरना शनिवार को शुरू हो गया। सेक्टर-45 स्थित ग्राम सदरपुर के पास किसानों ने अथॉरिटी की किसान विरोधी नीतियों के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की। इस दौरान किसानों ने रविवार को बिल्डरों का काम रोकने का ऐलान किया। ग्राम के पूर्व प्रधान सुरेंद्र चौहान ने बताया कि रविवार दोपहर 11 बजे धरना स्थल पर किसान इकट्ठा होंगे। इसके बाद आसपास के इलाकों की साइटों का काम बंद कराया जाएगा। अथॉरिटी उनकी मांगों की तरफ ध्यान नहीं दे रही है। ऐसे में उनके पास बिल्डरों का काम रुकवाने के अलावा अन्य कोई विकल्प नहीं बचा है। किसानों की मांग है कि पुरानी आबादी के अलावा नई आबादी की जमीन का निस्तारण किया जाए। बैक लीज की कार्रवाई शुरू हो। किसानों को 10 पर्सेंट जमीन, 1997 के बाद ली गई जमीन या अथॉरिटी द्वारा सीधे बैनामे से ली गई जमीन पर भी 64.7 पर्सेंट बढ़ा मुआवजा मिले। इसके अलावा अन्य मांगे भी रखीं।

The major difference between GN and Chandigarh, I can see is law enforcement. People are same everywhere, only diff is how you control them.
If we consider Crime rate, Why delhi is better than Noida ?? because of better law enforcements. In Noida you can drive without helmet, seat belt and can drive on wrong site without any fear but when same people comes to Delhi, they get concious and follow all the rules.
Chandigarh is what today, due to better planning and then forcing the rules i.e Land encroachment, Illegal construction,no shops on roads,non govt building can't cross more than 3 floors, More police stations and strict traffic rules.
GN can't come chandigarh due to instability in UP govt and inability of Govt to control crime.

Don't take it personally yaar, I was just comparing the planning of GN with Chandigarh. I already mentioned why GN is not preferred coz it's cut-off from main cities and i guess the main difference is what you may be eyeing is Chandigarh is having more of individual houses in comparison to GN where the ratio of private builders flats and individual are equal hence that personalization of everything is there in chandigarh which might be absent i GN case.
So it's my pov and can't argue with someone's else.
