Is Orris Carnation Residency A Good Investment

Folks, I want to know your opinion on Orris Carnation Residency. Though cheaper than other projects in its vicinity but this developer seems very new so it sounds very risky.

My personal opinion is carnation is better than Aster court, carnation is launched last year, expect minimum 9 months gap, construction status gap.

As it is Orris has to build the reputation from this project, being the first project, considering the number of licenses they have and future plans of the company, they will deliver with the first project.

Hi,
I had booked a flat in Carnation residency last year.
Recently I received a reminder letter from Orris and it mentions about "Service Tax". When I asked Orris authorities about the same, they mentioned that it was a legal case pending with government for a long time, and tax will be levied on all the installments that are made after June 2010. However, during my time of booking I was not told about this tax and as a result total cost that I need to pay is getting increased.
Is there anyone who is being charged with Service Tax on the installments paid after June 2010?

Have u recd new demand letter after making start of construction payment , demand for roof casting.

i received demand letter in Nov 2010 only after construction got started. no new demand letter as of now!
1) have u received any notification letter after jan 2011?
2) are they charging any "service tax" on the installments that are being paid?

You hv to pay service tax on all payments made after 1st june . Some builder asking with CLP , some separately & some with later installments....

tinesha, a small correction, Service Tax is applicable on all payments made on or after 1st July 2010.

how is carnation for investment , available on 2700 psft in resale

construction is going on good speed, all 16 towers construction has started, loan is disbursed by all major banks for all towers.

check with different brokers for better rate.

i suppose, builders are asking abt 3400/ ft for any new booking in Carnation Residency. if u r getting 2700/ft deal, then its gud. which size (3BHK or 4BHK) u aiming for?
