U could be quite right, i too am somewhat counting on the factors u brought up .

i read some where on this forum or newspaper abt 2 million people livinhg in a locality for metro to be considfed.

I dont think Manesar has even 5 lakhs for now. Gurgaon's total population would be 20-25 (Blind Guess). and D' Eway wont have that much poipulation even after 6-7 years.

Bangalore Metro is taking really lot of time apart from high population in many areas.

I think Metro is a huge huge project for any govt and its very time taking.

well I know pod taxis seem too out f reach , but If HOODA has his way he ll definitely get it !! Hes really after getting them to gurgaon !! And pod tracks take approx a week- 2 week per km , i read somewhere about it , i guess the co. who ll make it if it is approved and feasable (thats the major process which takes time ) claims to complete in two years !!!

Remember the metro routes in the masterplan are in masterplan till 2025 , so these could take a hell lot of time , whereas rapid metros and igi links could be delivered !!

And i guess the metro routes in the master plan are at proposed stage only ??? help on this one ??is it proposed or approved ?

I think the Metro is proposed & approved till the end of Sector 77, beyond that, is now proposed & not approved . Correct me, if i am wrong here .

buddy thats the old masterplan 2021 you are refering to refer to a masterplan 2025 , the metro route is shown till end of manesar sectors !!!

I understand Masterplan 2025, is still proposed & not approved . Update me, if i am wrong .
