Default Plots in Hansi

Hi All,

Recently, HUDA announced result of the lottery draw for the Hansi residential plots scheme at Panchayat Bhawan, Hisar on June 16, 2011.

The Haryana Urban Development Authority offered total 1,259 freehold residential plots (including the handicapped and blind category plots) to the allottees in the range of 90 square meters (4 Marla), 135 square meters (6 Marla), 162 square meters (8 Marla), 220 square meters (10 Marla), 324 square meters (14 Marla), and 450 square meters (1 Kanal).

Basically, I live in Delhi and evaluating Hansi for investment purpose.

Waiting for your inputs !!

Hansi is not a good place to invest.Law and order situation is really bad.No scope of appreciation in near future. The location of HUDA sector is not good.Better invest in Hisar.

Hisar plots have already appreciated to about 80 percent during last one year.Further appreciation will be slow.Kindly keep this point in view while investing in Hisar

Smile Revised premium rates for Hansi plots

Hi All,

I have finally bought a plot in Hansi, Sec-05 at a premium of Rs.6925/Sq. yd in the month of August. Now, the same has been increased to somewhere around 9000. It is when, where the possession has not been offered yet by HUDA.

Now, i think i made a right choice by parking my funds in Hansi plot.

By any chance, do you guys have any idea about when HUDA is announcing its next plot scheme?

Congrats for your purchase. My thinking is that plots do ive a better return as compared to flats.
What was the size of your plot and what is the govt price ?
The payment of HUDA plots is staggered and is to be done in 6 years so chill out. The possession can be granted after 3 years but there is no confirmation on this even from HUDA. for possession, keep your fingers crossed and if you are investor its good for you as possession even has additional costs like:
boundary
construction of minimum 25% area in 2 years time
security concerns due to encroachment etc.

Hi,

I have a 6 Marla (135 sq. meter) plot in Sec-05. And the HUDA allotment rate per sq. meter was Rs.6667.

Thanks
