In order to keep pace with globalization of business environment and international competition on the home turf, the Indian banking industry has remarkably transformed itself in the past few years.

However, the banks especially the public sector undertakings are not really transparent in their ways and processes of granting loans, particularly in the commercial segment. Their modus operandi promotes corruption and many times kill the spirits of people who want to be an honest entrepreneur.

So, is our banking system building India, which all of us want it to be.
