What is the current interest rate?
Any banks offer competitive rates?

SBI has not changed much. They are still offering fixed/floating teaser rates of
year 1: 8 fixed
year 2: 9 fixed
year 3: 9 fixed
year 4 onwards: floating

LIC is offering 8.96 (wierd) fixed for 3 years and floating there after.

My recommendation - go for these two.

If you are looking at a HL for 10 years or less, many banks are still offering fixed schemes.

I would recommend you stay away from private sector if possible. unless you want quick processing.
