Home loan eligibility is < 85% of the property cost
Based on my salary my home loan eligibility is 2 lakhs less than the 85% of the property cost. If approved, will the bank start disbursing immediately leaving me to pay the balance 2 lakhs at the end.

I think bank will most probably reduce the loan amount or they will insist you to pay that 2 lakhs. Or will ask for higher interest rate or guarantor anything is possible. In some cases banks give conditional approvals you can ask for this, hope you got this loan. |
