House tilted to North-South - Vastu tips - Indian Real Estate Forum

Hello,

I am a newbie for vastu science.

The flat I live in has a layout that is mostly rectangular, with entrance in NE, berooms as SW & NW, kitchen in SE.

everything seems fine. However the flat is a bit tilted by 25-30 degrees towards the left (consider drawing a straight line from North to South. The North of the flat is angled at 30 degrees to the left).
Is there a dosha in this? How can this be corrected if yes?

Trushna,

Though the flat is rectangular, a tilt by 25-30 deg means it is in Updisha. This means that the cardinal directions have gone in corners while the sub-directions are in the wall. This results in a severe defect called as 'Vidisha'. A tilt of more than 5-10 deg is not favorable.

There is a remedy like installations of 'Ratnas' (precious stones) in required places. However, this will just minimize the dosha a bit & not nullify.

The best thing in such case to do is to leave the house. This may sound harsh but few people I know have done it & have experienced positive change in their life. Hence, please don't experiment, life is short

* If it is rented house, it's simple, if not shift to other house on rent, later sell this house & buy another vastu positive house
