Is it true that the market value considered by banks is lower than the sale price? In that case, even a 80% loan will not fetch 80% of the sale value?
Any idea how much difference is there for a Unitech property, say UG2? |

This is done for calculation of credit score of applicant. This percentage is decided by bank based on location of property, expected resale value of property, applicant's track record and some other factors. This is all part of internal calculations by bank as per their credit lending policies or what they call as MOPP. This varies from bank to bank. It is always better if your property is located in better area according to bank. You can mention your location & ask banker about this. You can get idea about how much will be value according to bank. |
