I have took 20lack loan from PNB of emi is 17356approx fixed for 3 years. (8.5% fixed for 3 years and then floating). my disbursement is as per construction linded plan of builder. And bank says my emi will start from 1st month itself. I want to ask if the emi will start from 1st month, (only 2.5lack is first disburstment to builder) then 17356 cant be the interest on 1st disburstment. Thus the remaining amount will be deducted from principal??

Yes,

extra amount will be deducted from the principal and pricipal amount will start getting reduced from the first month itself.
