Default Pristine Place of SBC project at Gajularamana(Usha Mullapudy), Hyderabad

I have booked a flat with SBC project last year May 2008, at that he was telling the rate as 1950/- per sft + additional 2.5lac for amenities and car parking.

I have paid him around 15% of the total amount in cash till now, but due to this global recession I am unable to afford to take loan & pay EMI for the flat. What I should do now? Shall I go back to the builder and ask for the cancellation and tell him to return the money or any other option is there?

Please suggest...

Regards

Dav
