Adding-Removing Name from BBA Under Construction Flat - Indian Real Estate Forum

Hi,

Me and my wife are both out of the country. We have a self funded under construction property with BBA signed in both names.

We will like to exclude the name of one of us or transfer it in name of another local family member.

Any suggestions on how this can be done. BBA was signed on Rs 100 Non-judicial paper.

Your wife would need to sign an affidavit that she has no objection in her name being excluded from the BBA & of addition of another local family member in the same .

U need to contact your Builder for the exact wordings of the format . The Format is a standard one, but some Builders insist on giving a Format/ wordings of their own .

Thanks Manoj, is this usually on a non-judicial stamp paper like BBA...

Yes, it is normally done on a non-judicial stamp paper ( check on the value of the stamp paper {value varies from state to state }, normally, it is done on a Rs. 20/- stamp paper ) & needs to be attested by a Notary Public .
