Housing board society New Membership Fees
I had purchased a flat in housing board society building in Jan 09 in Jaipur. Now the building is maintained by a society formed by residents of building. The society has issued a notice to me for depositing Rs 21000 against new membership fees after 8 months of purchase of flat. Society did not inform this to me earlier nor the person who sold the flat. The agreement also does not have any information related to this. My question is, do I have to pay new membership fees? If i do not pay new membership fees to society, then what legal action society can take against me.
