Icon25 What is the procedure of getting power of attorney from malaysia for an indian proper

My uncle have a property in Red Hills, chennai , Tamilnadu. We want to buy the property from him. But this is for investment purpose only. So we don't want to register the property and opt for Power of attorney.

Now, My uncle is in Malaysia. He cannot come here as of now. Can we get a power of attorney from him by post. What is the procedure of getting power of attorney from malaysia for an indian property?

Please suggest me possible ways to proceed.

Thanks in advance

Smile POA BY NRI - ADJUDICATION PROCEDURE EXPLAINED

The NRI can sell or buy the property, except agricultural, herein India. He/She need not to come to India for any purpose to search suitable property, to apply and avail for loan or for registration formalities.
All what to do is execution of POA and get it attested by the Consul of India at foreign country.
The POA has to be adjudicated (registered) in registrar office within 3 months from the date of receipt in India.
Then the Agent/ Attorney can act on behalf of the NRI.
If you want any further details, mail me the full details and I may be in the position to help you specifically
Because this is the general forum, I can give an idea about what is asked.
