Dear nnnarhari... may be the following information will give you some idea about real estate scenario in Rajasthan...
JAIPUR Jaipur is slowly transforming from heritage to hi-tech city, embracing mall and IT culture. It is emerging as the next big educational and medical hub. With the coming Technology Institute and Chartered Accountants University and a proposed Film City on Tonk Road and Apollo and Escorts Hospitals, Jaipur has all the makings of a hot spot. Real estate consultants feel that in NCR, Jaipur is the safest city for real estate development/ investment because of its connectivity to NH8 and because of comparatively affordable real estate prices, compared to Delhi and Gurgaon. The up gradation of Jaipur Airport to international standards, broad gauging of rail link with metros and four-laning of Ajmer Road predicts substantial growth in realty. JODHPUR Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan, at the edge of the Thar Desert was once the capital of the Marwar state. It is still one of the leading centers of wool, cattle, camels and salt. Jodhpur is especially known for its shopping and wholesale and export operations. Rajasthan government is allotting land at subsidized rates to attract IT companies. Many integrated township, Residential Apartment, and satellite townships are coming up in Jodhpur which will cater to accommodating the IT professionals and other working professionals. The Master Development Plan 2011 proposes to divert about 7-lakh population to satellite towns including Jodhpur, Ajmer, and Kota etc. AJMER The city of Ajmer lies in the heart of Rajasthan, some 130 km west of Jaipur. Literally an oasis surrounded by the rocky Aravalli hills Ajmer is a major tourist destination because of its eventful history, spiritual sites and the neighboring city of Pushkar, famous for its Brahma Temple and the world famous Camel race. This city is the next best destination for integrated township and posh apartments according to the industry experts. Reputed Real Estate agencies are launching projects (over 200 acres) on Ajmer Road, offering 1,500 units with modern facilities like club house, children’s play area, jogging tracks, meditation centre, school, hospital etc. KOTA Kota is a unique combination of the majestic medieval age and modern day industrialization. Forts, palaces and splendid temples dating back over several centuries retain the past glory. The modern technology and buildings and heavy industries have made it the industrial heartland of Rajasthan. The Chambal Valley Project with its many dams- Kota Barrage, Gandhi Sagar, Rana Pratap Sagar and Jawahar Sagar provide a substantial growth to the economy and electricity to the whole of North – West India. Also 2 x 220 MW Nuclear Power Plant at Kota, Rajasthan for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited by the Reliance Group has made Kota a desired destination in the real estate market. UDAIPUR The 'City of Lakes' was founded in 1599 by Maharana Udai Singh. The city hailed as the 'Venice of the East' set amidst the Aravalli hills of South Rajasthan, is one of the most romantic destinations in India. Udaipur has a profusion of marble palaces, lakes, temples, cenotaphs and rugged hills. It's also proud of its heritage as a centre for the performing arts, painting and crafts. The Lake Palace on Jag Niwas Island in the middle of Pichola Lakes is the finest example of its architectural and cultural explosion. Tourism and handicrafts remain the main source of livelihood for the people here, though the real estate boom in the nearby Jaipur is sure to create some ripples in this city as well. In short if you want to invest in real estate in Rajasthan, the time is right and the best option to choose is definitely Jaipur. |

Udaipur is having huge potential. First of all in itself it is a tourist place so will always be in demand. second industrail growth in udaipur like they have planned for big project. Thirdly its proximity with with two most upcomming cities (Ahmedabad, Jaipur). Right now prices in udaipur are competetive (not very high and not very low) as as soon as developement will increase in ahmedabad and jaipur prices in Udaipur will go up (I have seen this trend at so many places, as people will get richer and richer in Ahmedabad/Jaipur so they will start investing in Udaipur). Right now there are few good (no many) builders not not of very high reputation so buying a land seems to be good option. also in continuation to development, now they will have Broad gauge (Rail) connected to Ahmedabad very soon. Let me know if you want to know more about Udaipur's potential.... |
