Yamuna e-way to open in first week of August

Yamuna Expressway is likely to be thrown open to the public in the first week of August. The decision was taken at a meeting in Lucknow, chaired by chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday evening, sources said.

Government officials said the toll rates for all categories of vehicles plying on this stretch would be notified in the next few days so that the expressway developer gets enough time to publicize them. “All pending issues are being sorted out and the developer has been asked to carry out checks and tests finally before the commercial operation of this stretch begins,” an official said.

About 10 days back, the UP industrial development commissioner, Anil Kumar Gupta, had been given a 15-day deadline for sorting out all the pending issues related to the expressway and send the report to the government.

Sources said the state law department was also asked to vet the toll tax and speed limit. Recently, the state government notified the speed limit for vehicles –100kmph for cars.

The 165-km-long expressway connecting Agra and Greater Noida has been waiting for clearances from the UP government for a long time now.

Sources in Jaypee, the developer, said all facilities have been put in place. While setting up of petrol pumps along the expressway would take time, the developer will make available petrol dispensing units at three toll plazas, each of 6,000-litre capacity. “We have already tied up with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) which will set up the fuel stations. Since it will take a month or two, the fuel dispending units at toll plazas would be enough to meet the need,” said one of them.

The developer has also tied up with a major fast food chain which would run the food joints along the expressway. “The company has told us they need to be one day ahead of the opening of the expressway. Everything is in place. We are just waiting for the opening of expressway,” said a Jaypee official.

He added that CCTV cameras and patrolling units have already been put in place.

Visited kassia today . Saw crusher trucks and abt 50 - 60 labour . Since I went arnd 5.30 the project engineer had left . But still it's a long long way to go . May be 2015 at least . As far as sports city is concerned its world class .

I have booked Flats in Kassia project of JP Rs 3300/- BSP about 8 months back. I am not getting clear feed back from my broker or the builder about the progress, appreciation or feasibility of reselling. Can someone give me updates about the resale price, either from an authentic source or recommend a reputed and trusted broker who is certfied and deals with NOIDA projects. I am located overseas in Canada and cannot afford to come to India frequently. Any feedback/reference/authentic site/ source would be highly appreciated. Is there any policy of cancellation/buy back by the builder. Your valuable comments will be appreciated.

Progress - Slow but sure . I just saw that 3 days back .
Appreciation - none in last 8 months . You shld have booked in block 4 or 5
For trusted brokers - you can try direct dealing with builders for clearer deals . Can negotiate the same deal directly also .
For cancellation / buy back you can send emails to CRM and you will get a Reply as we always do .

Hi RC .
A very big area is under activity along with block 1 , 2 and 3 . I think it was block 4 and 5 . I took the pic from some distance while driving back . . But what i saw in last oct and what i saw in end july had a lot of difference . Was pretty satisfied .
